Experience John Feddock is a principal mining engineer in the corporation. Mr. Feddock is the coordinator of all mining engineering projects and serves as the principal investigator in mineral economic and mining geotechnical projects.

Mr. Feddock’s consulting experience spans over a decade during which he has dealt with projects in both surface and underground mines in both the coal and stone industries. Underground mine projects include mine planning and entry layout, longwall applications, subsidence prediction and control, productivity analysis and prediction, continuous miner and longwall equipment applications, roof support analysis, and coal pillar sizing. Surface mine projects include surface mine planning, mountaintop removal, blasting damage, groundwater and hydrologic impacts, environmental site assessments, productivity analysis and prediction, and highwall stability analysis.

The coordination of mineral economics projects calls upon Mr. Feddock’s experience in discounted cash flow and rate of return analysis; equipment and facility investment requirements; the valuation of property, plant, equipment, and reserves; mine operating cost forecasting and analysis; and mine feasibility studies. Mr. Feddock integrates his experience as the engineering manager for two major coal companies in analyzing situations and recommending cost effective and practical solutions to the unique problems mining companies face in the increasingly complicated reserves and political climates. He is recognized as an expert witness in both state and federal courts.

Major clients include mining companies, banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, insurance adjusters, and electric utility companies.
