Laser Mapping

Laser MappingLaser scanning provides a leap forward in detailed surveying of objects and topography. Utilizing a Laser Equipped Total Station, MM&A offers data scans for surface terrain applications with an accuracy of up to 1/1000 of an inch. Stockpile surveys using laser mapping are safer than conventional surveys, enabling accurate measurement of the stockpile volume without personnel physically traversing the stockpile. Topographic mapping can be accomplished with a higher degree of accuracy than conventional grid surveys, especially for small or limited access sites.
